Cut finger when opening progresso minestone soup
I was opening a Progresso minestrone soup Tuesday Night November 13, 2018 and the lid was very hard to open. As I opened it the top open up and cut my finger very hard and it began to bleed very hard!! I tried to stop the bleeding but after 1 hour I went to ER at Henry Ford Hospital West Bloomfield , West Bloomfield, Michigan!
I received 4 stitched in my finger! I have to go back next week to remove the stitches!
I have been using Progresso Soup for at least 10 --15 years and I have never had a cut or anything wrong!
Just wanted you to know about this Progresso Soup. I have more soup in my closet and I will not use them!
Thank you.

Chicken Cheese Enchilada Soup Fibers found
Today, on 8/30/2018, I made a can of Progresso's Chicken Enchilada soup. While eating a can of Progresso's Chicken Enchilada soup, I found two 1/2" long thin wooden/balsam/corn husk(?) type fibers, nearly choking on them.
They were frayed at the end and one piece split and made me choke. I was able to get most out, swallowed a piece. I buy probably 12 cans of Progresso soup a month and have never found any strange things in the soup. Up until this point, I have enjoyed their soups.
Has anyone else had these type of fibers in their soup and if so, should it be reported? Never had this happen before and was surprised to see these reports. I kept the can and fibers retrieved. Doubt I'll be buying any Progresso in the future.
Should I report this to Progresso or contact an attorny? Should I just blow off the fact it make me choke?

Same thing happened to me on two different occasions after eating the wild rice soup. I have one can left. I don't know if I should risk eating it.
