Meal worms in Progresso split pea
Update by user Feb 26, 2022

I received 3 coupons in the mail. I had asked to have someone call me back from the customer service for a follow up as at the time I did not know if I would become sick....

I was told that would happen and it never did... let's just say it left ANOTHER bad taste in my mouth for Progresso

Original review posted by user Jan 27, 2022
Gagging as I write this, I found at least a dozen Meal Worms in an unopened can of Progresso Spilt Pea Soup, of which I had already eaten about 5 bites before I noticed the white things.. The Can(s), I bought 4, expire in Nov 2023, had no dents. I bought them last week at Food Lion in Franklinton. I have not had the stomach to open the other 3 cans yet. The Progresso company said they would send me a couple of coupons and they were so sorry...gagging I asked him what if I get sick from eating the worms and spoiled soup... No answer, he asked if I would like a call from someone regarding that and I said yes... 3 days.. No call... It is going to take me a long time to eat split pea

User's recommendation: Look before you eat any soup from progresso.

Gluten free soup problem

Have bought your gluten free homemade chicken soup for quite awhile. Tonight when I opened the can and heated it up it contained no pasta! The numbers on the bottom of the can are: 11NOV2023 FF2240 3 1937 33 P18826R I live in Southern California and was quite disappointed based on the price of this soup, which Ive never had a problem before with the quality. Don't like LARGE noodles and why are carrots in soup?

Again: don't like large noodles and carrots in my check noodle soup. This product should be called pasta chicken noodle because most of the can is filled with the large noodles.

I purchased five cans of savory chicken and wild rice three of the cans had absolutely no rice.

I purchased five cans of Savory Chicken And Wild Rice so far three of the cans absolutely have no rice. Your phone reps English was very poor and giving the code number and the name of the product he could find the product. I asked him his name and employee number and he only gave me Ivan. The name he gave me did not match his accent. Why couldnt he look up the produce or code? Is the employee or Progreso incompetent?

User's recommendation: Employees that speak better English.

Italian-Style Meatball soup

My husband bought the Italian-Style Meatball soup and was so disappointed in it. It was definitely soup, and that was about it. It had tons of carrots (my husband does not like cooked carrots, but the dog loves them) and hardly anything else. It is supposed to have noodles and "meatballs", maybe 4 meatballs and hardly any noodles. With prices going up, you would hope to get what you pay for, and this was definitely a miss!!!. We will not be buying this product again. Philippa Pressman 301-949-****

User's recommendation: If you love cooked carrots, this is the soup for you.

Ummmm

Why does the new england clam chowder can say 'MAY contain crustacea?!?!" That's why I want it. For the crustacea. If i knew there was a gamble, and it might not have clam juice or clam, i wouldn't buy it.

Lack of product in soup!

You might as well call your clam chowder ( potato soup with clam flavoring. Lucky to find 4-5 tiny bits of clam in there. If I wanted potato soup I would buy it. Get with it Progresso , stop getting cheap on us. Give the consumer their moneys worth.

User's recommendation: Pass on this product.
