Verified ReviewerDisgusting Pot Roast Soup
I bought the pot roast flavor soup because it was on sale, and I expected it to be comparable to Campbell's similar beef and vegetable/potato flavors. It was disgusting, just weird flavored water with mushy carrots and potatoes, woody green beans, and mostly uncooked peas.
It was nothing like what I expected and just terrible.
It didn't look anything like the picture on the can either. I would never buy it again.
- Its soup
- Its gross
Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: Don't get this flavor, it's gross
It was notable.
I bought 4 cans I tried 1 and threw the rest away. It was watery and didnt taste like it use to.
A couple of years ago. They will go in the trash as soon as I get thru telling about how bad it was. It even ruined my crackers thats how bad. I tried cream and a little pepper and it still tasted bad.
You cant ruin soda crackers. But the Progresso clam chowder did.
- Use to be great
- Now horrible
Preferred solution: Go back to the good stuff.
User's recommendation: Don’t buy

Verified ReviewerSharp bone in chicken and pearl soup
I found a piece of bone with sharp points in my chicken and Pearl soup last week bought from Meijer's in Fraser Michigan. The piece of jagged bone was bigger than a dime and would have surely sent me to the hospital if I swallowed it it only scratched my gums thank God.
Very dangerous situation.
I have contacted the company with no response yet. Again it was bought and Fraser Michigan in early 2024bone in soup
Preferred solution: I would like to be recognized and compensated for this ridiculous and most dangerous situation your soup company put me in
User's recommendation: Please scan this type of soup in the very near future in case there's any more pieces like it

Verified ReviewerProduct degradation
Gone, apparently, are the days when one could count on Progresso soups being superior to their competitors. I poured a can of my onetime favorite Progresso soup, New England clam chowder, down the drain today because it only resembled clam chowder in appearance.
Sadly, it has become a tasteless, white liquid with the constitution of tap water. Very sad.
I will miss Progresso New England clam chowder soup. Sincerely, and sadly, David Michael Smith.
Preferred solution: A commitment from Progresso they will return to their original quality control standards.
User's recommendation: Demand that Progresso return to its original high standards
The can is like for a poor family of 10 with a 1 quart pot where servings will be juice because no meat or beans for everyone
Open my can and nothing but juice (water) was in the can, maybe 3 to 4 teaspoon of other bean, vegetable
User's recommendation: Make your own soup

Verified ReviewerBad soup
had a can of green spilt pea soup almost choked to death , peas hard as rocks wife threw hers out. Brought at Winn Dixie afew hours ago for dinner with roast beef sandwiches. This is such BS the price of food and get this green color water with tiny rocks.
- Good soup
- This was a bad can
Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: i have never had an issue with this brand until today. Use Campbells split pea soup. It takes an act of God to contact this company to get a message unable to take your call. I might take it back to the store Winn Dixie.

Verified ReviewerI found a screw in my soup
I have a three year old daughter that luckily didnt eat this pasta and bean soup with a screw in it!!! Whats worse is your company doesnt even care!!
I have heard no word of any concern either through phone or mail. I will never buy your product again and I will tell everyone I know the very same thing.
I hope you all sleep well tonight. Yours truly, David Forrester
- Delicious
- Finding a screw in my sop
Preferred solution: I want $1,000. I have spent way more than that on your product over a twenty year period. I think that’s fair.
Missing ingredients
3 of 4 of my gluten free chicken "noodle" soup cans were missing the noodles. I have no idea how production can go that wrong for a company whose only job is to make soup.
I'm sick and just wanted some damn chicken noodle soup. It's a waste of money when the product you purchase is not as advertised.
There are noodles in the picture of the soup bowl on the can. Three of my cans were JUST chicken and carrots.
- Make gf soups
- Gf soups are a lie
Preferred solution: Recall of falsely advertised products.
User's recommendation: Do not purchase this brand

Verified ReviewerI found a small black bead in my creamy mushroom soup
While eating my creamy mushroom soup, I bit down on a black bead. At first I thought it was a rock, but after examination I knew it was a bead.
I was so disappointed. I use to love Progressive, but like other companies they are probably cutting back on quality control, leaving their consumers at risk.

Verified ReviewerUnadvertised red pepper flakes in lasagna soup
I purchased your a lasagna soup and it didnt have red pepper flakes. Listed in the ingredients. Spicy stuff to always be listed in the ingredients
- Good quality
- Great variety
- Excellent flavor
- Unadvertised red pepper flakes
Preferred solution: Either a free kind of soup, or some coupons or something.
User's recommendation: Nothing can be recommended. Because that is why you check the ingredients on a product. But when that ingredient is not listed, specifically, and it just says spices.

I think you need to expand your quality control on this soup.
User's recommendation: Better quality control on this soup so that others do not find bones in their soup.nd bones in their soup.
