Progresso - Sugar in the soup
Hello, I would just like to know why you are putting sugar in the soups. They don't need it and it is not good health wise.
Why don't you get really healthy and take it out? Otherwise your soups are good, but too sweet! More and more is being written about the adverse effects of sugar.
The trend going forward is for people to wan to eat healthier and healthier and become more label conscious and it is always to the advantage of the manufacturer to be pro-active in being honest and healthy in their preparation of our foods. Thank you.

Opened a can of Progresso Split Pea, flavored with bacon, soup today. This soup should be call Split Pea with Sugar.
The taste was way too sweet, terrible. I dumped 80% down the drain.
Won't be buying this brand anymore. My have to open a beer to get the taste out of my mouth.
All processed foods, like frozen dinners, canned soup, etc. are very high in sodium and, often "sugar." Best to look at the labels and read how much of each are in them.
The best bet to avoid ingredients you don't want much of is to make your own soup. That way, you know what is really in it.
